Astrology, like other forms of pseudoscience, tries to lay claim to the prestige of science without submitting itself to the discipline of the scientific method. The key is falsifiability. Some believers in astrology consult a horoscope published in a newspaper, which claims to make predictions for the coming day. Newspapers often publish horoscope columns with the title "Astrological Forecast," implying that they should be considered on the same footing with weather forecasts. However, astrology has failed carefully designed empirical tests of its predictive claims,[1] unlike meteorology, which, although not always correct, has been proved to be statistically more accurate than random guessing.
As is often the case with pseudoscience, the practitioners of astrology respond to such disproof either by changing their claims, or by refusing to accept the scientific method as a valid test of their claims. As an example of changing their claims, some astrologers may say that astrology is only useful when the astrologer can have personal contact with the client, in which case the newspaper astrology columns should be abolished. If, on the other hand, the scientific method is to be rejected entirely, the problem is that astrologers do not agree on any alternative method of determining whether a particular astrological method is any more or less correct than any other.
There are also some specific criticisms about methodology that scientists make of astrologers. Almost all modern astrologers eschew direct observation in favour of specially constructed astrological ephemeris.

When will short term rental home owners in Florida wise up?
Despite the fact that vacation rental property prices in the Disney area are going through the roof, rental prices remain low.
Whilst the low costs can be seen by some as good for the consumer, the truth is that nobody wins in the longer term. The value offered by the short term rental homes is amazing when compared to the prices of close by motels. It would be a shame if this market was to slump to the point where owners can no longer afford to offer their beautiful villas to tourists.
Steve Curtis, CEO of Fab Villas who specializes in marketing these fabulous properties to holiday-makers, said “As the number of rental properties continues to grow, many owners are foolishly undercutting each other simply to make the monthly mortgage payment. This means that if they don’t obtain a booking for in excess of around 48 weeks per year they will probably lose money.”
If owners cannot afford the upkeep of their properties the rental subdivisions will eventually begin to look and feel dilapidated and will therefore become undesirable.
If there is nothing in it for the owners, then these rental homes will simply cease to exist and that means that we all lose out.
Let’s hope that’s not the case.

How hard can it be to find a competent, licensed electrician to install some cable TV points?
If you think it's easy, you would be very wrong.
This is Florida.
Licensed electricians are not cheap. They have trained for years following the lead of a really expensive master electrician and certain jobs are beneath them. Any kind of low voltage job falls into this category, so cable TV points are definitely out.
Competent laborers that actually turn up also seem hard to find.
I needed 6 cable TV points installed at my vacation rental villa in Kissimmee Florida. After 4 weeks of broken promises I got talking to Steve Curtis, CEO of Fab Villas. He suggested that I make contact with Wire It Right, a company that specializes in all kinds of low voltage installations in the Central Florida area.
What a breath of fresh air. Their staff are professional and much to my surprise turned up exactly when they said they would. Their installation could not be faulted, no messy holes in my walls and no cables showing. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Today's topic will be about reality...Lately, i've noticed lotsa people getting depressed recently... but mainly gals... "dun tell me that time of the month all come together... zZz" Anywho, seeing ppl sad is not good... that is why i tell myself, MUZ BE HAPPY~! dun let anyone worry about you wor... but oh well, lets get it on...
ONe may notice... its easy to console one about that party's problem.... but when that same problem comes to you, you would not know what to do... Basically, this is a fault in the human being which makes us imperfect.... dun blame yourself man... its basically human instinct... what we can do is try to chill out and think about it in another way or another point of view... this, may be hard to do... but be cheerful!! take some time off... go to someone which you can really chill out... may be anywhere to you... but for me, the best few places would be library @ esplanade, East coast beach, as well as the Airport... Chill out... think about it in another way.... or maybe you can call in a friend as well.. talk about it... if you wan, you can call MaRkIe`-s Inc~! sure to be at your service anytime... but reality.... being sad for a moment is ok.... but dun take longer than a couple of hours... cause really... you look at it... its kinda a waste of time... imagine this... you can spend those couple of hours brightenin someone else's life... makin you happy also.. well, i mainly dun really know these stuffs as my thinkin is still of that comparable to a not mature act mature kid... but oh well... this is kinda my thinkin of keepin happy.... time, to me is the most valuable thing in the world... cause of time, i made many mistakes as well as miracles.. At times, when you feel like crying, cry it out... dun hesitate.. cause cryin out would release some tension inside you.. and maybe you'd feel better afterwards... but juz dun cry when you are ard me... you will end up turning those tears of sadness into joys of laughter at my stupidity... i remembered doing that to a few b4... latest was that gal... forgot wad name liao... wanni's fren... while tonin at funan e it mall for energy... o well, liew.. i think i really damn jia lat... zZz... also dunno wad i did... but oh well, its kinda over...Technically, i really dunno wad type of person i am... childish? stupid? well, i dunno... but lolx.. i think these qualities can really cheer someone up i suppose? o well....
